Who wants to bet on the Indy Colts?

November 17, 2006

The Indianapolis Colts are 9-and-0 for the second straight year after escaping with a 17-to-16 win over the visiting Buffalo Bills.

Peyton Manning was 27-of-39 for 236 yards, including a one-yard TD pass to Reggie Wayne.

Manning’s one-yard scoring strike put the Colts ahead 7-to-3 early in the second quarter. The game was tied 10-to-10 until Joseph Addai ran for a five-yard touchdown early in the second half. Addai had 78 yards on 13 carries while Dominic Rhodes ran 14 times for 72 yards.

The Bills tied the game late in the first half when Terrence McGee returned Ben Utecht’s fumble 68 yards for a touchdown. But the Colts kept the Bills’ offense out of the end zone holding them to three field goals by Rian Lindell.

J.P. Losman completed nine of his 13 passes for just 83 yards.
